the offering

  • Join for live sessions! We’ll share experiences, best practices, and lessons learned. When these are scheduled, we’ll post the calendar dates and descriptions on this site and send a newsletter.

Engage with our hub of resources (ever growing and evolving) as you build your own processes and practices. This is still getting set up! Once we have a few of our favorite resources in place, we’ll send a newsletter with updates.

    • Be part of a group.

    • Give and receive ideas, resources, and support.

    • Connect through synchronous and asynchronous touch points.

    • Turn your good intentions into concrete action.
      Make a difference.

    • You think this sounds cool!

    • You want to do pro bono evaluation.

    • You don’t know about pro bono evaluation but want to learn.

    • You want to know more about finding a potential pro bono project.

    • You want to brainstorm or get feedback on a current or potential pro bono project.

    • You have experience with pro bono evaluation and want to share.

    • You want to meet (other) pro bono evaluators.

    • You just want to.

Our Team

We are volunteers, collaboratively shaping and holding this container for the community.

We are dreaming up a space for reciprocal community in action.

Caroline Freitag

I’ve done pro bono evaluation in the past, but this work feels particularly urgent to me now. Although funding has decreased, the need for evaluation has not. Ideating, launching, and supporting a community of evaluators doing pro bono work is one way I can be a part of positive change.

Being able to learn about the work we do and the way we move through the world is a gift. Pro bono evaluation creates the space to engage with this work differently, but no less enthusiastically and perhaps more joyfully and grounded in our inherent ability to learn.
